The brief was to design an aggressive XC bike which was way more capable than its price tag would suggest! We went for a 140mm air fork and a long and slack geometry with an exceptional standover height. The frame was designed to have clean, flowing lines with a custom profiled toptube giving a streamlined silhouette. The result was a bike that was extremely confident descending at speed and sure-footed on the trails due to a 65 degree head angle paired with Schwalbe Hans Dampf 27.5 x 2.35, giving both poise and maneuverability with superb grip. The groupset of choice was Shimano’s ‘rock-solid’ XT. Matt our test rider & engineer got some huge air on this thing, hence the slammed seat!
